I’ve tested this scenario a number of times with the same result. Mail forwarding an email with a 3.2mb attachment (PDF) on Traveler 8.5.3 works within a minute. While most tests are using wireless, I’ve also tested on the AT&T 4G cellular network.
On Traveler 9 it takes a long time and finally times out with “Cannot Send Mail - An error occurred while delivering this message”. The e-mail is then stuck in the Outbox folder and all synching will stop. To sync again hit trash icon in Outbox.
Update - It does not forward with the iPhone 4s or iPad3. Android and BlackBerry z10 works. Using the same iPhone 4s and iPad3 on Traveler 8.5.3 works fine. They are both using iOS 6.1.3. Also tested with 622k Powerpoint attachment and same issue. Sends within seconds on 8.5.3 and error with Traveler 9.
All settings for Traveler 8.5.3 and 9 (below) are identical. Only exception is SSL/HTTPS implemented for Traveler 9. However, I experienced this issue prior to implementing SSL.

Otherwise, Traveler 9 works great. Anyone else experience this issue?
