Has anyone else experienced problems using Firefox (any version) against iNotes 8.5.1? Since upgrading our lab systems, neither the old mail8.ntf’s or new mail85.ntf’s function properly in Full mode with Firefox. The Lite Modes function perfectly, but in Full Mode for example, name lookups do not bring up a dialog box when pressing F9, but in IE, they work as expected. Frequently in Firefox the first line of the body is bold and cannot be changed, and in the mail85.ntf, clicking on the folder button to browse for an attachment, doesn’t do anything. Has anyone else seen this, or is there something wrong in my setup?

I’ve been using iNotes 8.5.1 in Full Mode using the mail85.ntf template on Firefox 3.5.3 on XP for the past week and haven’t noticed any issues.
Name lookups and browsing for an attachment work as expected.
Perhaps try clearing the cache and/or try Firefox in safe mode to test?

I am using 3.5.4 and not a problem.
Althogh after upgrading I saw that the replicator added like 900 documents in the mail85 template which is quite a lot and I found some rare issues in my mail database (Using Notes 8.5.1) so I made a design refresh and everything is perfect.
I would recommend running a refresh design in both the mail files and the forms85. Does forms85 have a template? Can’t remember.

iNotes in Firefox stopped working for me all of a sudden, it correlated with a Notes 8.5.1 upgrade, which I blamed initially - until some other sites stopped working too.
In my case, it was the .Net Add-on (???) for Fire-Fox.
Disabled that, and iNotes began working again. You might like to see if you have anything similar which is giving you the same problem. Check your Add-ons, and disable/enable them to ensure that it’s not the Add-ons causing the issue.

Thanks for all of your responses. In the end it was simply some bad cache, after clearing that that mail85.ntf worked perfectly. However, the problems still remain on any of the older revisions, such as mail8.ntf or dwa6.ntf. I even installed fresh on a new machine and am seeing the same results. Any ideas on what might target these older revs?

IBM has finally been able to reproduce the same issues I encountered with Firefox. It seems that on any mailfile older than 8.5 (in our case 8.0.1 mailfiles) the address lookups don’t function and the body of the memo starts out as bold and cannot be disabled. Has anyone else run into this with Firefox yet?
