Firefox integration

Is there a way to integrate Firefox in Notes client as Internet Explorer is integrated. We are looking for a way to use Firefox with Notes Client but we want to provide it as integrated in Notes so the user will not be tempted so easily to use a browser separately.

You can select Firefox as your browser in your location document -

Edit Current - Internet Broswer - Other - Internet Browser Path then select Firefox from your system

But then a new browser-window is opened. We would like to have the most possible integration in the client

Firefox is not a control. See my response above. And I still maintain that what you are trying to do is a bad idea – your users will still use their browser separately because of navigation problems, only you’re forcing them to copy the link manually and put it in the address bar of the browser rather than just clicking the link. Do you really want to be an Exchange administrator in a couple of months? 'Cuz that’s what you’ll be headed for.

Yes – but the user needs to separately download and install. The IE control lives in Windows. (And using the built-in browser is still a BAD IDEA, no matter how you look at it, because of the navigation issues I described in my first posting in this thread.)

Using a browser separately is probably the more correct way to do things – the navigation controls provided in the Notes client are not specific to the tab in use, so clicking the back button will not necessarily go to the last web page, it is more likely to re-open the database the user just closed. The users will find that more than a little frustrating.

And IE is provided as an ActiveX control, while Firefox is not (yet).
