Finding folders that have same 1st and 2nd letters in the name

When filing an email (received or being sent) into a folder, normally you can just start typing the folder name and it will position you to that folder. This doesn’t work with folders which names start with same repeating letters, for example ‘CCP’. When I try to type ‘CC’, instead of entering the 2nd letter into the name, it starts jumping between all folders, which names start with the letter ‘C’. Only when the entire list of folders is exhausted, it inserts the 2nd ‘C’ and correctly positions me at the appropriate folder.

What do you see in the status bar (see red arrow below). You need to type the letters quickly to filter correctly. When I do, I get the expected results.

Subject: Still doesn’t work

No matter how quickly or slowly I type.

Subject: Figured it out…

It works or doesn’t work depending on the last folder I used. If the highlight is above the ‘TTT’ folder, then it works. If it is below, then it doesn’t. Looks like it searches through folders below, not the entire list.

Thanks
