Find where Link is in Workspaces

When I receive an e-mail from someone with a Link attached to it, I would like to be able to find where in the Workspaces this document is stored so that I can get back to it at a future time without needing to find the e-mail and the link again first. There does not seem to be a simple way to determine where the link is pointing to.

Subject: Need More Information

What type of document? Is it a document within a Notes DB? Other?

Subject: Notes DB

The document is within a Notes DB. I would like to know which Notes DB as it is not obvious when I open the link

Right click on link. At the bottom of the link properties dropdown you should see an action that says “Create Bookmark from Link…” This will allow you save a direct link to the document via bookmarks. See screen shots below. The workspace will give you access to the database that contains the document. That you can find by right clicking and selecting “Open Application”. This should add the application to the tab with focus on your workspace. If already there it should take you the tab where the application is and put focus on the application.

Subject: Don’t want a bookmark

Thanks for the response but I don’t want a bookmark I just want to find out what Notes DB the link is in. If the same person sends me a dozen links and they are all in the same DB I will know that their stuff is generally stored in that DB.
