Find out the exact location of a mail

I filed some mails into the folders within my mail box long time ago but forgot the exact locations now. Although I can find those mails within the “All Documents” folder, does it has any way to find out the exact locations of the mails that I filed before?

Many thanks,

Sunny

Hi,

have a look for “FolderReferences” in the Designer help…

A friend discovered a cunning way of doing this. Go to All Documents and find the mail, expand all your folders and press ‘Insert’ on the mail in questions - you should see the unread count change for the particular folder that the mail is in.

A bit clunky, but it works. Later versions of Notes have a native function for this, I believe…?

Hi James,

The method you mentioned is workable.

Thank you so much!

Gracias, amigo! We still have a ton of R5 mailboxes floating around, but when I replaced the design with the R6 template it worked like a charm.
