What happens if instead of hard-coding the file upload control you use the File Upload object available in designer?

Subject: RE: Fileupload control using HTML

I can’t use the designers fileupload control as using it is giving error since the form is having dialogist in very large number so as fields gets refreshed , the form displays error msg that page can’t be displayed

so please me for this so that I can do this using html

Hmm - I suggest then working on the dialog list to correct the error first - I don’t see what difference the fileupload control would make.

Hi seema,

If you are using the above HTML to produce a file upload control in web form and save the attachment with the form, i am not sure if the attachment is being saved with the form.Could you please first check if the attachment is being saved with the form when you select an attachment and save the form.If there would be no attchment how would it display the attachment.

Seema i dont understand your problem how using a file upload control creates a problem. How the control is related to refresh of the field in your form. Ok either you can have two forms one is your main and one is the child form containing the file upload control.you can use the child form to save the attachment. And while saving the main form you can fetch the attachment from the child form. Will this help you.you can mail me at skswain @ yahoo.co.in for more details.
