I have a file control on a form and it works great. The only problem is to the right of the ‘Browse’ button, I have the words ‘File Upload’ in a box. Looks kind of like a button but is not clickable and shows up no matter which browser I use to view the page. I’ve used file upload controls before and have not seen this behavior. Its very strange. Any one see anything like this before?

Subject: More Detail
Bummer, no takers… Is there any more detail I could provide to assist anyone in assisting me? haha. When I open the form up after saving it, it shows two upload controls next to each other. But they are exactly the same and if I delete one, they both go away. Like this:

If I delete it altogether and add a new one from scratch it doesn’t show up on the web page at all. Maybe it’s just a corrupt form or something.
Subject: Copy & Paste Issue
I have had this problem with the graphic after copying and pasting file upload controls from one form to another or even in the same form. Try deleting them and creating them individually without copying and pasting. Also ensure that they are not defined as Pass Thru HTML otherwise they will never show up.
Hope this helps.

Subject: Thanks!
Thanks for the response Pete. They were created by copying and pasting from another form so I bet that was the issue. I actually came to post a resolution when I saw you reply. I guess it’s not a resolution as much as it is just pure random luck but I went in to my form today to make a text change elsewhere on the form, clicked save and the problem went away. I had two other forms that were behaving the same way so I opened those, saved them and again, the problem went away. I save them at least 50 times while trying to troubleshoot the problem last week but for whatever reason, today was the day it decided to work.
Subject: Notes can be like that sometimes…
Happy to hear you got it sorted tho.
