File Server Access

Hello All,

Can we access the folder on a FileServer using Lotus Script ? If yes, can anyone post the script .

I’ve a fileserver from which has the file coming from MY SQL server . This is from a seperate application built on .Net .

So, my script has to access the file on that file server and then import the data into a Lotus Notes database .

Any help, is much appreciated.

Hello,

Found a workaround , wherein i mapped the netwrok drive of the server with my local drive .

I did found a database in Sanbox for FTPing the directoy on a file server , but that looks pretty complicated and looking for a simpler option , that can be managed by the users .

as long as the script is running on the client just share the folder and use the UNC path to the share in your script

\server\share\file
