We have several users who try to do a “Save” of files to the hard drive…and it says starting to save…0% complete…and does not move. If you exit out of Notes and then come back in, you can walk through the same process and save the file to the location you were trying to save it to in the first place, without issue.
We have been working with Support on this and have not gotten anywhere, and the users are getting upset.
Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated.

Any chance that if you Alt-Tab through the applications that are running, you see a dialog box that appeared?

I will check on the tabbing through the applications for a dialog box, but I did not see any in the past.

Quite possibly, your AV is interfering with the file detaching (which may launching a dialog box that has not received focus so it remains in the background). If possible, try to disable AV just to test whether that affects the file detach process.

Check the FileDlgDirectory line in the notes.ini, does it point to a non-existent drive or share?

Just checked…it points to a network drive that is still available.
But I am not sure this would be the issue, since if they just restart Notes, it works.
