I have a Notes form, which has a computed subform. It uses one subform if the client is a Notes client, and a different subform if it’s a browser.
Both subforms have a rich text field, of the same name, which has a Word document embedded in it via an agent, using:
EMBEDOBJECT(1454, “”, FileName, “Attachment”) method of a NotesRichTextItem
This works fine, and the document is viewable from within Notes and a browser. However, if I edit and save the Notes document (without modifying the Word doc) and then save it, the document is viewable on the web but the file attachment is nowhere to be seen. After this, I can only view the attachment on the web if I use ?EditDocument at the end of the URL, however there is no hide condition for the rich text field.
Can anyone think of why this would happen?
