Hi, i have a new problem today. The File Download Control was working fine up yesterday.
Now when i click the file link to download, i get an IE error page HTTP 500.
Would be a server configuration?
Would be a control property?
Thanks
Diego

Subject: Did the server update replace the design of your app?
Though this would only happen when if your app has its inheritance set.
Or maybe try attaching another file, save the document, reopen it, then attempt to download that file. If that works, there might be something wrong with the previous document?
Subject: More Details…
Paul, thanks for your time.
The application doesn’t inherit from anather one.
When i create a new document and attach a PDF(in this case), and try the link(in edit mode), it work, and the link is:
When i close the document and reopen it from a view control, i move to the tab that have the download control, it don’t work and the link has changed to:

Opening the document on a XPage without rather then the tabbed panel.
And do you want to send on the application for me to have a better look?

Subject: Any news on the File Download control issues?
I too am having troubles with the File Download control on my XPages.
I am able to create traditional Domino URLs to the attachments but those generated by the XPage Control return 500 errors.
I read elsewhere that if the DB was in a folder it was causing the issue, but I moved my DB to the server root and still have the same 500 result.
Subject: Still…
I still have this problem…I moved database from subfolder to data folder, and now, links work fine…
But, now, the problem it’s to open Word or Excel files!! Internet Explorer 7 show me the following in that cases:
