I have this message sending mail to user:Error delivering to POSTALAN/RICCIONE mail/banastasi.nsf; File does not exist
But using domino administrator
i can see the mail/banastasi.nsf.
If i try any action (i.e. compact, manage acl, etc.) on this file the response is always that it doesn’t exist.
I can see it via file-system, and it has the same pemissions as other mail database.
this file has been created by “move mail file” action from the old Domino R5 names.nsf to the new R851 server.
Please tell me how can i use this db!

and when i click ok, the server says “a replica of this file is not found in the specified server…”

I guess one thing you can look for is spaces in the file name, either at the beginning or end. I’ve seen this in the past.

I will re-create the mail database for the user with a new replica from the R5 server…

As the last try, renamed the mail file via filesystem… domino can open the file!
Renamed back to the original … the file does non exists!
resolved renaming the database file from banastasi.nsf to b_anasatasi.nsf and modifyng person record in the some way.
I’m still wondering… why domino didn’t like the original filename???
