File does not exist with @DBColumn

I have a dialog list field. I set up the values of the dialog list to be a formula. My formula looks like this:

srvr := @GetProfileField(“Profile”;server2);

directory := @GetProfileField(“Profile”;directory2);

filename := @GetProfileField(“Profile”;filename2);

dbname := “”+directory+“\”+filename+“”;

@DbColumn( “” : “NoCache” ; srvr : dbname; “compidpick” ; 1 )

When I click on the field to see the values, I get “File does not exist”. Can anyone point me into what I’m doing wrong?

Subject: File does not exist with @DBColumn

Start out by hard-coding the values and make sure the dbColumn works. Next use prompts to verify the values in srvr, directory and filename are correct. Then I’d recommend adding each into the mix one at a time, replacing the hard-coded values. See where this takes you and if you can narrow down where the problem is coming up.

Subject: File does not exist with @DBColumn

For the @GetProfileField(“Profile”;fieldName), the fieldName must be in quotes.

@GetProfileField(“Profile”;“Server2”), etc.
