A long-running Domino server started crashing and experiencing file corruption on multiple mail files and, in one instance, on the server id. None of the files on the cluster mate ever seems to have a problem.
I’m thinking that this is an OS/hardware issue but wondered if there is anything within Domino to check.
Domino 8.5.1SP1 on Windows 2003.
I’ve shut the server down for now and we’re running on the cluster mate. I want to make sure it’s an OS/hardware issue before replacing the hardware for the primary server.

Thanks Bill for the tip about memory.
We were able to get the corruption fixed with command line Domino NFIXUP and NCOMPACT. Original cause may have been an older version of Diskkeeper scheduled for the same time as Domino maintenance.
Subject: Have you run DCT?
There are several memory related rules which may help determine if it is configuration related. Please let me know your experience.
Kind regards.
Subject: Memory?
I’ve seen similar problems that turned out to be memory, which is also the easiest thing to check (Memtest86+).
