File cannot be created

Hello,

I have upgraded my client from 7.0.3 to 8.0.2 Standard. I upgraded my Mailfile to StdR8Mail. The client is an English CLient on an German XP with SP3.

Now I have some strange problems. Without any obvious reason my client stops being able to open mails with attachments. I receive an error “File cannot be created”. Then I have to restart my client and everything seems to work again.

I searched for this error and found some people having this error also. But no one seems to have a solution fitting to my problem. i did not activate ODS48 or made any other change since upgrading from 7.03.

Has anyone seen this also?

hello,

did you replace the design or refresh it?

If refresh, then use Replace.

Also try a fixup. Problem still exists then? Create a new user with a new mailbox, same problem?
