A client has reported the following to me. (I’m not a Blackberry expert) If they attach a file (Word, PDF) to an email the BB Client can open and view the attachment. However, in a different database when the BB opens a Notes Document with an attached file they are unable to open the attachment. They get a message that it is an unsupported file type.
Anyone seen this and how do you get around it?

Actually I found the answer. Attachments only work with mail, they do not work in a standard Notes Database view viaw the BB browser.

Does it means, Blackberry Browser/BB does not open any file attachments.

From the research I have done and the feed back I have from a client – if you open a document in the browser and it has attachments they will not open correctly (an error is thrown). However, if you have attachments in an email document and you open that email in the BB email client you can open the attachments.
