I have an 8.0.2 domino server. We have had problems with the mail router hanging delivering mail to local mail files. I finally traced the problem to these couple mac computers running 8.5.1 client. The mac clinet is sending an email with attachment to other people on our mail system, non mac. The router hangs delivering the email and eventually (4 hours) will bring the server to a crawl, have to re-start, delete this email from the router box and life is good again. I could not find anything in this forum, but found the exact problem in an older forum.
We currently running 8.0.2, but have plans to upgrade to 8.5.1. Has anyone else seen this and will the upgrade fix this problem.
Update: I did find this article, but one problem my users are set to keep in senders format. But I will check on the encoding
