What is the most efficient way to lock in the values of editable fields and prevent certain user roles from changing them?
These number fields need to be editable up until a certain date and then locked in for the remainder of the year.

What I’ve done before is to stick the value in a computed field that’s computed to itself, then hide the origional field, this gives the impression of it becoming locked. Use a conditional ‘hide-when’ to set the date you want them to be locked from.

Depending on how many fields you have, I would probably use hide when formulas on the editable and CFD fields,then in the queryopen event of the form, check the current date and set your hide when values based on the date.
