HiI am not able to show a field of a response doc in a view but of parent, I can.
Parent form: Deadline (date field)
Child form: Deadline or DateReq ( date field).
Please help me.

Hi HaseebIf you have the view option ‘Show responses in a highrachy’ (Options Tab) enabled, then you cannot display field values of a parent document and a field value of the response document in the same column of a view.
On the column properties (column Info tab) there is a check box ‘Show Responses only’ if you wish to display in a highrachy . see the designer help topic 'Indenting response documents ’

Thanks Chin, thats exactly what I needed to know. You seems a nice person :-)One more thing, If I want to use form which is only response type, does’t seem to be working as normal docs do in views. Do I have to also create one response only column for this?

No. Go to the “i” tab of the view properties dialog, and de-select the checkmark next to “Show response documents in a hierarchy”.
