Field Index

Hi,

I have a database which I use to practice with any new stuffs, i come across…

When ever i create a form and save it , the names of the fields present in the form gets updated in the field index... and does not vanish when i delete the concerned forms from the database

i have even tried deleting every single document associated with the database

when i create a view and try to map its column value to the fields in the new form I see a vast index of field names which i have deleted long back and its hard for me to give new names to every single field i create further

I have tried compacting database , deleting index , updating index and such stuffs… i don’t find them useful…

Any help is appreciated

Thank you,

Karthick

Hey,

the field data within a database is stored withing the UNK table (Unique Key Table). It’s a known problem that this table is not updated correctly. Personally for test databases like that I would just recreated a new databases and copy acroos what you need.
