I want to create a field in the “About Database” document of a database but I don’t seem to be able to do so. I have a template that is shared between databases and the only thing that differs is some text in the About Database document so I thought that I could add some fields and create a Profile document where I can control the contents of those fields depending on the database that I’m in. Any one has a suggestion on how to accomplish this?
Thanks a lot!

Field? You don’t need no steenkeeng field!
Try Create->Computed Text.

Thanks a bunch! That worked great!

My sentiments exactly! Use computed text. For example, on many of my About Database and Using this Database pages, I insert something like the following header…
Using the Database
Where equals @DBTitle. Though I haven’t tried it, I’ll bet you can point the computed value to a database profile document field to customize it even further.
Good luck!
