i am starting to build a notes web application.
I have added two lines with text and field.
When i open the form with notes browser or firefox i cant see nothing on the form, when oppened in IE the form wont load at all it says that it isnt foeund.
Are there any settings i must change? It is an database on a local comp. Do i need IIS to run it with IE
When run with notes browser the title ogf the form doesnt show it showes http … so on!

Do you have notes server running on your PC or are you just running the notes developer client?
It sounds like you’re only running the developer client and using the preview feature?
Anyway what is the URL you’re getting? Does it have a space (a bad thing) and what are you trying to do? Just preview or Edit/Create a document?
Does the following URLs work?
http://localhost/[DBFile].ntf/[FormName]?openform
Where [DBFile] is the name of your file - if you have spaces in the filename change them to plus signs.
Ditto for Formname (setup an alias without spaces)

Just running the client, now i copied the database to the server and got the following messageError 500
HTTP Web Server: Application Exception - Documents treated as HTML cannot be edited

In the Form properties, on the second tab, check your content type. Make sure it is Notes. Even if you are writing HTML on the form, unless you want to use an ALL HTML page (no Notes objects at all and just creating html pages), then the type should be NOTEST, not HTML.
