Field and group limits

The members field limit in the group document is 64k.

TO; CC; BCC fields have a limit of 15k.

Which wins, because if the group is in a personal address book the Group will expand when sending - won’t this take it over the 15kb limit set on the field.

The main issue is that a user is sending a mail using groups in their personal address books that exceed the 64kb limit - so some people on that distribution list are not receiving the mails.

If I have 1 group of 126k - obviously I will struggle to use this because of the 64kb limit

If I split this into two 63kb groups and nest them both in a single group document and use this to send mail. Will I have any issues, do we go back to the 15kb limit on the To field?

Subject: field and group limits

You can use either the group name (individual of two 63kb groups) in To or CC or BCC fields to send mails. I think so there is no limitation.

The limitation comes when you are listing the users individually in the To/CC/BCC fields.

I probably think that nesting groups under a parent and then using the parent group in To/CC/BCC should work.
