Hi,

One of the user gets this issue, as you did even i thought it could summary fields issue but i saw a weird behavior.

User 1 goes to their document on a folder (shared-private on first) then the user gets this issue. If the user opens the same document in some other normal view it opens with out the field 32K issue.

User 2 gets it in both the places.

User3 is not getting that issue at all.

User1 and User2 are using this database for quite sometime but user3 is new to the database.

Not sure what is wrong and where to start the trouble shooting.

Also i checked the document properties it has more number of attachments and the document size is also more but the attachments are in the rich text field which we shouldn’t get this field 32k issue.

Please advice, your help is much appreciated.

Private views are stored in the desktop8.dskLet me suggest the following

removing all replicas of the db from the desktop.

compact the desktop

close notes and delete cache.ndk

restart notes

add db back on to desktop

see if private view is still an issue

Sure we will try these steps, is this could be because we have a just more than a lakh documents in the db and the document where we get this issue is almost got more number of attachments.

Compacting will work? also do we need remove some of the attachments on the document and see?

The way I understood the issue is you where only having issues with the documents when access thru the private view and not when you accessed the same document thru public views. Is that correct?

When I said compact I want the desktop compacted. Compacting the db should always be done as part of regular process.

Yes thats correct, users getting it while accessing it through the private views.

I created a new copy with less documents of the db but we are not getting the issue een while opening it through the private view.

its getting weird day by day i am not sure where i am missing it.
