IMHO this really comes down to the meeting culture in a particular organisation - what you are suggesting most probably wouldn’t work well in my company, so if this does make it into a future release, please consider having it controllable by policy and switched off by default

For me, this would be an EXTREMELY valuable feature. I could easily use it at least twice a month. In contrast, in 15 years of using Notes, I have NEVER use the ‘delegate attendance’ feature.
I also agree with the prior poster that it is very organization dependent.
Please provide the functionality, but make it a checkbox so the meeting chair can decide.
… there are cases where you only want a certain attendance and people are not invited on purpose. I think the default needs to be user-settable, to allow invitees to invite others or not, and each individual invite needs to be able to override the default. If there is not already a setting to prevent delegation, maybe i could be a dual purpose thing, to allow/prevent delegation and extra invitations.
