I would like to suggest a new feature in the mail rules area to allow the specification of a sound for that particular rule.
For example I would like to have one sound for mail routed to a specific folder and a different sound if the incoming mail is from my boss.
Subject: I have entered the “Specify sound” as a feature request in our internal feture tracking database… .
I also added another related Idea, which is that, right now, you can specify a sound when particular person in Sametime Logs in, logs off, becomes available etc. If and when we implement your “sound in mail rules” feature we should integrate that with Sametime, so that in one place you can manage your sound alerts.
For example, ideally, if you specify a “foghorn” when you get mail from your boss, you can also easily specify “foghorn” when he logs into Sametime (without having to go to completely unrelated dialogs and picking the sound all over agai.).
