I need to crack the security on an important database with local encryption turned on, for which we have lost the user ID.

I idly searched for ‘crack lotus encryption’ online and found this article, I’m guessing it’s a honey trap for idiot would-be crackers, but maybe not.

Anybody know? I’ve never heard of the RSA being cracked on Notes, and I’m guessing it’d still be the case…

The only thing they are potentially going to do is keep trying 1000s and 1000s of passwords.
