Failure to view & download attachments

I use English IE 6.0 to access iNote Web Access. Everything seems ok except the attachments in emails. Upon close examination, if the attached file name is in Chinese, a Domnino Web Access Warning appears:-

Domino Web Access Warning

Problem: Item Not Found Exception

Solution: Click here to close this window and return to the main window.

Can someone advise me the possible fixes to it.

Did you ever get any help with this issue? We are experiencing the same problem. Although I’m not sure if the attachment she is trying to open is in Chinese, she is Chinese and is in China at this time, so it is very possible! Thanks.

i have the same problem if you solved it would you please write it.My problem is with turkish characters if the file name has Turkish characters no body is able to download or upload file.On console "item not found Exception " message is apperaring when i am tryin to download the file which has the turkish characters in its name. Please help it is urgent for me.Thank u.

I can’t believe this is happening. The only way that DWA will open attachments correctly is using Firefox and Firefox can’t be used with Lotus Team Workplace… I mean. If anybody knows an IE setting that could be causing this. But my IE is default.
