Weird stuff. I upgrade a user to roaming. All goes fine. The little icon next to his name in the directory turns into a globe icon which signifies a successful upgrade to roam. But the client, for some reason is popping up the above error (subject of this post). I’ve tried tearing down his client setup and building his machine again. It succeeds with this initial setup, pulling down names, and bookmarks. The client launches and initiates the background replicator and replicates fully. But when I exit here comes the message again. No more automatic replication upon launch or exit from this point forward. HELP!!!
Subject: Failed to replicate with roaming server.
Well it never fails, I find the solution within 5 minutes of posting the question after struggling for 2-3 hours.
The answer is to open the replicator tab of the current location doc and enable replication when Notes starts and when Notes shuts down.
