Extract recovery password problem

I configure the Recovery Password on my server Domino release 6.0.4, but when i attempt to recovery passord, for an id that i created before the configuration of Recovery Password, I get the error “Nonexistent or invalid recovery information”.Any ideas?

I doubt that you will be able to extract the recovery information as the IDs were created before your configured the other part.

If the clients and servers are also running ND6 or higher, then the newly configured recovery information will be automatically downloaded by the clients into the users’ ID files when they authenticate to their home servers, and encrypted backup copies of the ID files will then be automatically (and silently) sent to the backup repository. Those encrypted backups can be used with “extract recovery password”, but any old copies of the ID file (such as any copies kept when the ID files were registered without recovery information) will not be recoverable.

Don’t suppose anyone can advise where the encrypted backup copy of the ID file that this is refered to in Dave’s post will be stored.
