Need a way to extract person’s initials and put full name.
Here is the example…the field has the following:
2006-145-SRI-Documents
2006-145SRI-DocSheet
I want to take SRI out of above and show Suresh Rivera as full name in the view.
I tried replace() but it gives me 2006-145-Suresh Rivera-Documents but I want just Suresh Rivera alone.
Hope someone out there can help me with this issue.

How do you get full name for the corresponding Initials ?
You can use String split methods like Strleft or Strright to get the “SRI” and then replace that with the corresponding full name. If its a view you can use @left or @right to do the same.
