External Directory Catalog Contents in Names Field

I currently have an extended directory catalog on a Domino server which holds login details of some web users.

I would like the contents of this directory to be available in a names field (using address dialog for choices), however, it only displays my main directory and my local address book.

Is it possible, without having a local replica of this extended directory, to do this?

I only need this functionality on 1 client, so if it was a notes.ini entry that would be fine

for just one client, this is what I would do: create a local replica of that other address book for this client. Then use the “cascading address books” feature, by adding the other address book listing in the client’s preferences.

I haven’t looked, but I believe if you search for “cascading address books” on this forum, you would get all of the information you need. I believe it may still be unsupported, but it works.
