I have been asked, if possible, to allow an external customer access to one of our lotus notes databases via the notes client (Not the web!).
The customer would be able to take advantage of all workflow capabilities, etc. Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Brian,
a) Have port 1352 open on the firewall to be reachable by your customer
b) If your custome has Notes him/herself: create a cross certificate (see the admin help) / else: create a Notes ID for them
c) Add them to the appropriate groups
Caveat:
You might want to audit your system to make sure they don’t see things they are not supposed to see. Chuck’s DominoSecurity.org is a good starting point.
