My searches lead me to believe that anyone running notes/domino already know the answer because it’s such an obvious one to figure out 
I would like to know how to export a users mail database from Notes and convert it to a PST file.
Is this difficult or so numbingly easy that no one bothered to ask about it until now.

yeesh, what a fool, I was searching “exports user notes database”
Well, my fault for not being completely detailed in my initial post. I want to export the user database and either convert it to a PST or view it with a seperate notes client that’s not connected in any way to the domino server. If I remember correctly, the user databases are username.nsf located in the lotus folder somewhere, I just don’t want to corrupt a database if I do a simple copy and paste.
