Export single Notes Mails for use in SPS

We have Lotus Notes as Groupware and Mail system but are using Microsoft Sharepoint Portal Server (SPS) as Document Management System (DMS).The users want to have mails in the DMS. SPS can work fine with .eml and .msg (MS Outlook). One idea is to enable POP3 and let the users use MS Outlook, from there they can drag and drop the mail into folders and/or the SPS.

But that’s not a real solution as it would be the first step away from Lotus Notes Mail. We would like to export a selected Mail directly from the Notes Client. Also encrypted Mail is not read by the Outlook Client…

BTW, Groove does this job! It installes an Action in the list in the Notes Client called “Send to groove” and you can transfer the selected mail with header, text and attachments with one mouseclick into the Groove System.

Any help is really welcome,

best regards,

Markus

Did you find a way to do this?

We need to do the same thing Export the messages intact to another application. and also to the file system.

*.NDL files would do it, provided everyone had access to the mail file, but all said and done that would still just be a link and not the whole thing.
