Export error #04:06

When people try to export selected documents to 123 (1-2-3) from certain views in a database, they receive the Server Error #04:06 message. I’ve searched this forum and tried things others have suggested but it seems to be view/database specific.

I’ve tested multiple views … they all are categorized, and have totals. The database is not full text indexed. Some views require that you select a category in order to avoid the 04:06 error, but other views export fine with or without a category included. If I copy the view and the documents to a different database, I can export without selecting the category. Therefore, I don’t think it’s a special character issue with any particular documents, and it seems to be database specific.

Any ideas?

No responses? I got the same issue. I tried full text indexing and it didn’t work. This is on existing applications that have worked in the past.

The problem may be that you HAVE to select the category if the view you are exporting is categorized. To me this is a bug or a very poorly worded error message.
