I can access the file locally with the expired id but other people need to be able to access it from the server.
How can I make thie available to other users?
Can I do anything with the id file? Merge it?

How about recertifying the ID file?
Without recertifying the ID file, you could also access the database locally, and then remove the encryption.

How about creating a new copy or replica of the database, specifying no encyption for the new copy or replica?
