Expected release date of Calendar API, if that is happening

Hi there!

I am exploring whether the options to customise the interaction of Calendar entries and rooms and resources have changed in recent years or not.

I saw from another post in this forum that you are possibly working on a calendar API? I’ve checked the LotusPhere 2009 presentations and no mention was made…

Two questions:

  1. Would the API allow CUSTOMISATIONS so that , for example, we can add additional information fields on notices from a user’s mail file to be sent to Rooms/Resources at the InviteRooms() stage so that they are included in the Reservation document in the Rooms and Resources database?

  2. If so, do you have a planned release date for this information?

Subject: Have you looked at

using $CSCopyItems at all? That should allow you to send custom items from C&S to R&R just fine. This seems to be one of the often overlooked things we added a while back. For those unfamiliar with it, check out Rocky Oliver’s blog posting on it here.
