Hi,
I have a strange encounter. When using “File”, “Exit Notes” to exit from Notes, the Internet Explorer automatically launched. If I the top-right “X”, it did not happen.
Anyone can advise ?

The default location for the IE icon on most Windows desktops lines up pretty well with the location of the File>Exit in Notes. Most likely you are double-clicking the Exit. It only requires a single click. (This is even more likely if someone has enabled “single click opens” in your Windows.) Thus, if you double-click on Exit, the first click exits, and the second click opens IE (even if you don’t see the IE icon yet.)
Another similar issue I see this with a lot is Notes mail “new memo” button. It lines up with the “save as draft” button. People who double click “new memo” end up saving the memo as a draft before they even see it open, and it appears as if the new memo button doesn’t work.

Hi Maria,
The user use single-click when doing “File”, “Exit Notes”. I realise that doing this, it did not close notes instead in minimize notes & launches IE.
The double-click should not be the issue as I have user with the same setting but this did not happen.

We also had this problem and it was caused by Easy Sync Pro. Once we uninstalled and reinstalled this software, the problem went away…
