A couple of years ago management dictated that we move our email to Exchange. Over time that was done and all email generated by Notes apps now goes through the Exchange server. The administrator who did that has left the company and is unavailable. The new MIS team this past weekend implemented new Exchange servers. They work fine, but since then, email generated by Notes apps will not pass correctly to the Exchange server. (Not recognized as a TCP/IP host.)
Being a developer, not an administrator, I’ve been working with the MIS team to find where all the references to Exchange are found in the Administrator.
We found one reference in the Administrator under Configuration/Messaging/Messaging Setting. The field Local Internet domain smart host: had the old Exchange server name. However, replacing it and attempting to restart the Router didn’t work.
We’ve searched everywhere we could to try to find other references, with no luck. Does anyone know what if there are other references and where they’d be? Or is it a matter of bouncing the servers?
