I’ve migrated a test user from Exchange to Domino using the Admin client’s Domino Migration Tool (also known as DUS). Although the entire mailbox gets migrated, attachments are stripped for several messages. Other messages are migrated with attachments intact.
Has anyone else seen this behavior or have any suggestions?
Another issue is that in the addresses of the migrated messages, the first & last names are reversed. Is there an Exchange preference that I can change to fix this??
Thanks,
Bill

IBM - Attachments lost after migrating from Outlook 2003 to Notes
You use the Lotus Notes® Upgrade Wizard (nupgrade.exe) to migrate from Microsoft® Outlook™ 2003 to Notes 7.0.1, using the nupgrade 3 command. Outlook .pst files that have attachments are included in the migration to newly registered Notes users and although the migration is successful, the messages with attachments do not migrate to the .nsf database. The attachments are all visible in Outlook 2003.

Thanks, Jean-Yves
I actually used the Domino Migration Tool (DUS), not the Upgrade Wizard (NUPGRADE).
I had already looked at the troubleshooting document you referenced but it does not mention a situation where attachments are stripped.

Hi Bill, i got stuck on the same problem.
Two things: The DUS (Domino Uprade Service) is the Domino Migration tool.
And there’s a bug in 7.0.x with attachments not being converted correctly. This should have been fixed in 7.0.3 I’m currently investigating this.
