Exception on CreateMailMessage

Hello,I’ve just inherited an application that interacts with Lotus Domino. It uses a C++ API.

I am trying to send mail through the API but I get an exception (E06D7363) when trying to create the mail message. This only happens when the Lotus Notes client is closed. When the client is open and logged in the error does not happen.

Any idea to someone at loss here?
