Exception: java.util.NoSuchElementException running R6 Teamroom database from web browser?

Has anyone seen this cryptic error message display? It only seems to happen on some systems. Works fine on my system w/ Netscape 4, latest Mozilla, and MSIE6 w/ all the patches.

On the problem system:

The Java Plug-in VM that appears is 1.4.0_01-ea-b02. Browser is MSIE 6.0.2600.0000

w/ Q321232; Q328676.

I only saw one mention of something semi-similiar in the R5 Gold forum, nothing in this forum, and nothing in the Lotus KB.

Check in the client’s IE Internet Options settings (Advanced tab, Microsoft VM section most likely), somewhere in there it may be set to use a different Java applet package than the default IE one. This can kill Notes functionality. I installed the Sun Java dev kit and it killed mine til I turned this off. Steve

Subject: That’s actually fixed in R6

The problem in R5 was that Domino sent down CAB files to the Sun JVM.

I punted the R6 Teamroom for now. Just needed a place to transfer files securely and Teamroom was overkill anyways
