i want to create a code for generating reports on excel sheet
my requirement is
i want to create excel code in such a way that when auser selects date to generate reports from paticular date to particular
if user selects date i should able to retrive documents from view and excel sheet should get generated…

create a document collection based on that criteria and then export it to notes. There are TONS of excel export examples in this db.

because when you search for “excel AND report” one of the entries that comes up is this one:

(sure you have to dig past the first page of search results but it is there.)
anyway, what you are asking for is more difficult than you think and it is a bit presumptuous of you to think that the members of this forum will basically do your job for you, especially when resources like the one I posted above are available if you just search the forum. That class took me several days to put together, and that was after seven years of figuring out how to get Notes and Excel to play nice together–and I shared it with the forum in the hopes that someone would find it useful. But you should have tried finding it yourself before adding to the noise that makes it more difficult to find that post via a search in the first place.
