EveryPlace SMS 6.0 Incoming Problem

I’m using Everyplace server 6.0 with a Nokia 30 GSM connectivity terminal.We’ve been using this setup fine for a couple of weeks, purely for outgoing SMS. I now need to get incoming SMS working, and I’m having a problem!

When I send an incoming SMS to the server (from my mobile), the message is received by the modem (as indicated by display lights), and then the following error is reported in the log:

COM1: 0x0000380C (MOBILE) The mobile service is not accepting messages for the specified device PIN.

Recommended Action(s):

Retry the operation. If the problem persists:

  1. Contact the associated mobile service and verify that the PIN is still activated.

I thought that this may be to do with the fact I had the line type for COM1 set as “dedicated”, but if I change this option, the server doesn’t work either way!

I’ve created an inbound application profile and set security to allow for any device(though to be honest am unsure as to how the Application ID works?). Is this the problem?

Any help appreciated…
