Event Monitoring - Message Text

We have set up event monitoring to receive the automatic alert messages when a server goes down, then comes back up. The actual message appears in the subject. ex: “Access to server Notes1/XXXX/XXX can not be established by opening database (NAMES.NSF). [LADN-67GTND]”

Since we changed our wireless carrier the message gets cut off because the subject line can only hold so many characters. All we see is “Access to server Notes1/XXXX/XXX”

Is there a way to edit the text either in the subject or body of this event generator?
