Hello
Is it possible, to genereate a mail from a Event Handler when the server crashes?
My idea was it, to tell the server b to guard server a (and vice versa) and then send a mail when one of them crashes.
Does any one has an idea, how to realise that? I found no appropriate Event Handler.

Hi!
Sorry, i don’t no how to install a hook for a crash. But in DDM it is possible to probe servers (Server A check Server B, Server B check Server C, Server C check Server A…)
At this probes it is possible to enable mail, sametime… notifiactions for administrators.

I found what I was looking for.
Under DDM you can configure a Server Event which starts, when the Server goes down (surveillanced by another server). Then created a Event Handler which sends an SMS.
