The Event Announcement calendar entry is new however your only choice to create it is from the New button. If you create a calendar entry and want to change it to the “Event announcement” type you can’t as it is not appearing from the “Type” drop down list. It simply has not been included in the list field “AppointmentType”. It would be great to get this UI oversite fixed if that is what the problem is.
