Since the upgrade from 602CF1 to 603 I am having problems with iNotes and the € simbol. If typed in the subjet, it appears as an “square” once the mail is sent.
With Notes, no problem in internal mail, but when sending emails shows an “Multilingual MIME Warning” and are sent changing the simbol by â,¬
Any ideas?

Subject: Euro symbol
The problem with the email is that it contains the Euro Symbol of (€) in the body of the message or in an attachment in the email. Sending from Notes to Notes this is not a problem however as soon as you add one internet address, or somone outside or our Notes system, then the message needs to be converted to MIME. The message box that displays, which is the Multilingual MIME Warning, is saying it sees a character that is not part of your default character set and it needs to be converted or encoded. The reason why this problem appears in the ND6.x client is because of a User prefernce. The preference in question is the ‘Multilingual Internet mail’ preference.
By default the client has this set at ‘Use Unicode and Prompt’. This is why the Multilingual MIME Warning prompts the user for how it should be encoded. If the user keeps the default selection of ‘Unicode(the UTF8 multilingual character set)’ and clicks on OK, nothing will happen.
However, the second time they click OK the message will go away and the message will be sent. You would think you are ok now, but you would be wrong. When the recipient receives the message they will see the Euro Symbol like â,¬ instead of like €. This same behavior will happen when you use the setting in the User Preference of ‘Use Unicode(UTF8)’. To avoid having to click on OK twice you could choose the ‘Best native character set’ option, then check the ‘Don’t show this message again’ option and you will never be prompted again.
A better way to solve this issue is to choose the ‘Use Best Match’ preference in the users client side ‘User Preferences’. With the preference set this way the recipient will in fact receive the memo correctly and the user wil not be prompted.
